Who runs The Foodtruck List
The Foodtruck List is run by a small team and published by Benes the Menace. A real person on our team reads every request and chooses which trucks to send it to. We don't auto-blast your details to a long list.
Why we built it
Booking a food truck should be simple. Too often it isn't.
Hosts don't know what trucks charge, which ones cater private events, or what to ask before paying a deposit. Truck owners get vague messages with no date, no headcount and no budget, and they can't quote without them.
So we built one short form that asks for what trucks actually need. Then we send each request to a few trucks that fit, instead of dozens that don't. Hosts get real quotes faster. Trucks get leads worth answering.
We're starting in three cities: Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
How we make money
Right now, we don't. The Foodtruck List is a free pilot for hosts and for trucks. We don't take a commission, charge trucks per lead, or add fees to your booking.
If that changes, we'll update this page first and say so clearly. A change won't apply to a request you've already sent.
